Ombudsman (Confidential Legal Adviser) at puris Bad GmbH & Co. KG

By appointing an external solicitor as Ombudsman (Confidential Advisor), puris Bad GmbH & Co. KG has established a whistleblowing scheme, thereby sending a clear signal in favour of transparency and a responsible corporate culture. The Ombudsman is available as a point of contact for all employees, business partners and other third parties who wish to make a confidential report regarding a suspected

  • of a criminal offence (e.g. corruption or fraud),
  • a legal infringement punishable by a fine (e.g. a breach of competition law) or
  • a breach of EU law or standards designed to implement EU legal requirements (e.g. a breach of the General Data Protection Regulation or a breach of product safety requirements).

Reports submitted will be forwarded to puris Bad GmbH & Co. KG following review by the Ombudsman, whilst ensuring that the confidentiality of the whistleblower’s identity is maintained. Exceptions apply only in cases where incorrect information regarding a breach is reported intentionally or through gross negligence. It is therefore important that, at the time of reporting, the whistleblower believes or has reason to believe that their report is true, and that they are not making the report with malicious intent. However, if the whistleblower is simply unsure whether a breach has occurred, the confidentiality of their identity will, of course, be maintained.

Contacting the Ombudsman

You can contact the Ombudsman by telephone, email or post. A face-to-face meeting is also possible on request.
