We are delighted that you have visited our website and that you are interested in our offer. 2.  Categories of data, purpose and legal basis for processing
You can, of course, visit our website without telling us anything about yourself. You can call up the Privacy Policy at any time using the link at the bottom of each page.

We only use your personal data while you are visiting our website in order to operate and optimise it. To this end, the IP address, various technical details referring to the end device (e.g. operating system, browser used etc.) and details on the use of our website are collected. We do not save these details beyond the statutory retention periods or the fulfilment of the purpose. These details need to be processed in order to ensure the operation of the website. If you do not agree to this, we are unable to provide our online offer. We evaluate this information statistically in order to make using our website even pleasanter for all visitors. No connections will be made to any personal information that we may already have saved. The details generated for the purpose of using the website will be deleted after 14 months at the most. In individual cases, the storage of the data may be extended in order to enforce legal claims, to defend against any legal claims, or as the result of legal obligations.

The processing of personal data for the purpose of operating the website as well as network and information safety is based on Article 6(1) b) and f) of the GDPR. There is no legal or contractual obligation on your part to provide data in association with your use of our website. However, it is not possible to operate the website or answer your enquiries without processing your details.

3.  Data recipients
Your details will not be passed on to any third parties unless there is a legal obligation to do so. Processing takes place under the terms of Article 6 (1) c) GDPR and in association with the respective order or legal obligation to which we are subject in individual cases. Under the terms of Article 6 (1) c) GDPR, the processing of personal details is permitted if this is necessary for the fulfilment of a legal obligation to which the responsible person is subject. 4.  Contact form
You have the option of contacting us and ordering catalogues via a web form. If you want to use our contact form, we need your name, your e-mail address, a message and details of the desired catalogue. You may provide further information, but you do not have to. Your data will only be processed in order that we can respond to your request and will be deleted when storage is no longer required. The data is not passed on to third parties.  The legal basis for processing is Article 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. a. By sending the form, you consent to the processing of the data.

 
5.  Cookies
We use two types of cookies on our website: session cookies and permanent cookies. To enable you to decide whether you agree to this, we just want to explain the purpose of these cookies. Cookies are little text files that we store on your computer. Cookies do not execute any commands on your computer, so they are not a safety risk.

Session cookies store certain information while you browse our website. They are not stored permanently, but are deleted when you leave our website.

The use of session cookies is based on Article 6 (1) f). The operation of the website is in the legitimate interest of the controller.

6.  Your rights in relation to the processing of your personal details
With regard to the processing of personal details, you have various rights. Below is further information on these rights. Details of your rights can also be found in Articles 15 to 21 GDPR and Paras 32 to 37 of the Federal Data Protection Act ("BDSG").

You have the right to obtain information on your personal details. You can also request the correction of any inaccurate data.

In addition, under certain conditions you have the right to deletion of details, the right to restrict data processing, and the right to data portability. You can object to processing on the basis of Article 6 (1) lit f) GDPR and to any profiling under Article 21 GDPR. Any consents that you have given in the context of use of the website can be revoked informally and without giving a reason at any time with effect for the future.
